Job Duties

Producing specifications for new or modified software’s:

  • Work with business users or business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Serve as a point of contact between developmental team, medical directors and informatics team in reviewing, understanding business and its functional specifications.

Application development and maintenance:

  • Extract the data from Teradata, SQL server to R, SSRS and Tableau Environments through access software like Citrix. Create test datasets for unit testing as per requirement. Maintaining databases like Teradata, SQL
  • Develop web applications using Microsoft C#, .NET and troubleshooting of .NET framework related issues.
  • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Apply mathematical principles or statistical approaches to solve problems in scientific or applied fields.
  • Modify software programs to improve performance. Design software applications.
  • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
  • Analyze project data to determine specifications or requirements.
  • Partner with engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between software and hardware and to develop specifications and performance requirements.

Conduct health services research:

  • Work in Risk Stratification, dealing with customer data of Medical, Pharmacy, and Encounter Claims.
  • Analyze and condense complex claims, authorizations, and membership data into meaningful summaries.
  • Support ad hoc requests for clients from clinical, customer, and Actuarial. Investigate data abnormalities and compare to industry trends/benchmarks.
  • Analyze episodes of care and bundled payments to various health systems.
  • Develop new predictive models to identify patterns and insights.

Developing and Creating reports:

  • Develop Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the project such as modeling, process flows, development, unit testing and documentation.
  • Create reports using SSRS, R and Tableau indicating trends for Hospital and Specialist rankings.
  • Evaluate financial impact of implemented initiatives and prepare and present detail and summary level reports including data driven business recommendations and alternatives.

Requirment: IT Analyst shall have at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or closely related field. Such degree ensures that the individual has the technical competence necessary to perform the job duties.

The LBA will lead multiple teams consisting of developers, subject experts and stakeholders to convert the business requirements, process flow, use cases and the supporting integration documents into a fully functional application that meets user needs.

Pega Lead Business Architect will act as a technical and concept expert for the creation of a COE (Center of Excellence).. This individual will be responsible to work with testing/standards group and the leadership team jointly charting standards and best practices based on modified BPM development methodology and Pega platform adoption.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working within an established COE or helping to create a new COE.
The primary function of this position will involve the creation of standards and best practices for a newly created COE. Cross training existing business analysis on this new methodology will be secondary focus.

Required Skills

Bussiness Intelligence Analyst

Job Description:

  • Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources.
  • Develop new solutions or analyze and modify existing content. Analyze requirements and maintain, test and integrate BI components; ensure that MicroStrategy improvements are successfully implemented.
  • Consult and provide recommendations on projects and business requirements; work in association with Service Architecture and project management teams.
  • Unit tests BI solutions written personally or by other developers; ensure BI solution is written and tested in compliance with identified guidelines, internal and external audit requirements and any related financial and legislative requirements.
  • Analyze existing BI solutions and determines how best to implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Manage the maintenance and development of MicroStrategy and pre-existing systems to support the ongoing needs of the business; delivers services based on defined KPI s and SLA s for both in-house and out-sourced services. Accurately reports activities and status to project management/development team leader.
  • Establish and maintain an understanding of existing BI solutions code, development practices and solutions currently managed by the development team.
  • Create/modify database tables/views/indexes. Create/modify sql queries and write pl/sql/t-sql procedures.
  • Lead discussions with business users and other technical teams to solve moderately complex to complex business issues.
